When is the park open?

The park is never locked, although the car park does have opening hours which are displayed at the entrance.

How long has the park been here? 

​

The park was first acquired in 1923/4 so it is almost 100 years old! It had it's official opening in 1925, but people were using it before that in 1924. Check out our Heritage page for further information on the history of the park.

Is there a pond in the park? 

​

There was a boating pond here in the past, but it was filled in and now contains play equipment in the children's playground

Do you have a Parkrun group in the park? 

​

There is a very successful Parkrun group in Harrow Rec which has been going since 2015 and is run by volunteers. For further details please visit https://www.parkrun.org.uk/harrow/.

What is the fenced off area in the corner of the park for? 

​

That is our wild area, which is purposely left to grow. The grass gets cut once a year. We have plans to create some signage for that area.
