Friends of West Harrow Park is a group of people who care about our local green space and want to improve it.​

 

In September 2011 we set up a table at the West Harrow Village Fete, and nearly 30 questionnaires were filled in to answer the question "In order of importance, how do you feel West Harrow Park could best be improved?".  There were some clear leaders - Toilets, Tennis Courts, Cafe - as well as lots of other great ideas.   

 

We followed this up with a larger questionnaire in 2012 which 276 people responded to, and this has helped us move forward to campaign for improved facilities in West Harrow Park. So far we have ticked off the top three improvements - a café and a toilet, and refurbishment of the tennis court area. We are keen to keep on finding ways to improve the park, so more people can enjoy it.

 

​We have a small committee who run the group and organise events in the park.
